Cecelia surprised us, yet again. Anticipating an explosion of screams and yells and a mad dash down the stairs to the pile of presents, we instead saw our little girl sheepishly creep down the stairs and run… straight for the cat. “Alice is a toy,” she explained to us, as a full tree-ful of presents sat wrapped behind her.
Eventually, she came around. Before long, she had completely warmed to this thing we call Christmas morning and wondered where we kept the next present.

We also trekked down to Chadds Ford to visit Longwood Gardens on New Year’s Eve. When we weren’t chasing Cecelia around the spectacular landscape, we marveled in her awe of all the lights.
